GEO understands the importance of meeting the requirements of the contracts with our clients in full — legally, ethically and profitably.

This is assured by GEO’s contract compliance system through a process of continuous monitoring that is systematic, rigorous and balanced.

The system includes internal audits of policies and procedures to provide accurate and timely information on contract performance metrics as well as to oversee the attainment and maintenance of external accreditations.

GEO has implemented a quality management system built around world best practice standards to:

identify and meet the needs and expectations of its clients and other interested parties such as government bodies and agencies

The GEO quality management system not only provides direct benefits to our clients but also makes an important contribution to managing costs and risks by ensuring:

GEO corporate personnel maintain daily contact with senior facility employees. During and following initial transition periods corporate personnel representing all operational areas visit the facility in order to develop and sustain strategic leadership, oversee operations and provide guidance.

All correctional facilities in Australia managed by GEO are externally certified to international and Australian best practice standards and audited by independent JASANZ accredited certification bodies. (see Accreditation)

As testimony to its quality control systems, GEO has never received — throughout its entire corporate history in Australia — a contract default notice on any of its correctional facility management contracts.
