Opportunities to further education – 3 January 2013

Inmates at Junee Correctional Centre have the opportunity to complete their secondary education then continue with tertiary studies. This WIN television news report features an interview with a current inmate who recently completed his Year 10 Certificate equivalent and is now working towards tertiary building qualifications to help him find work upon release. Education assists inmates to make a positive change in their lives and is important in breaking the cycle of reoffending.
